Our Story
Juanita’s Beauty Salon was established in beautiful downton Hopkinsville, KY in 1966 by Juanita Livingston. She was a trendsetter and a leader in the profession of cosmetology.
Apolonia Martin purchased the salon in 1974. With her international knowledge of hair styling, colour, and cutting/shaping, and Juanita by her side as mentor, the salon thrived!
Now, Michelle Martin Mauldin, daughter of Apolonia, is driving Juanita’s Beauty Salon into the future!
Michelle and Brandy are creative stylists – always on the cutting edge of the beauty industry.

Meet the Team
Michelle Martin Mauldin
Owner/Manager/Stylist
Michelle has been with Juanita’s Beauty Salon since 1985. She specializes in colouring, custom blending, highlights, lowlights, ombré, and colour correction.
Michelle has extensive training in cutting and styling through continuing education and private classes. Her devotion to her clients over the years has allowed her to develop a special bond with each and every one.
During Michelle’s downtime, her passion for fitness has led her to power walking which helps her both physically and mentally. Michelle values how power walking gives her the opportunity to clear her mind and mentally prepare to give her best to her clients and business.

Brandy Goode
Stylist
Brandy has been a hair stylist since 2000 and joined the team at Juanita’s Beauty Salon in 2013. She loves doing hair for people of all ages! Brandy is a pro with everyone – women, men, teens, and children. Her specialties are special occasion styles and color.
In her spare time, you can usually find her at the baseball field watching her son play.
Brandy takes pride in listening to her clients and understanding their needs. She enjoys seeing the happy looks on her clients’ faces when they see the final result. She treasures her repeat clients and new clients as well. Call today to schedule your appointment!
